Our Vision
On the morning of June 3, 2007, God spoke to Prophetess Pauline Jackson Gore, through the Holy Spirit and gave her as part of the prophecy, the name, “Old Landmark Pentecostal Holiness Church”. Through prayer and the study of the Holy Scriptures, God revealed the mystery of why this specific church name was given and what he wants this church to do.
Acts 1:3-5 states that during the forty days after Jesus’ crucifixion He appeared to the apostles from time-to-time, and that on one of these meetings as He was eating a meal with them, he told them “Don’t leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you what He promised. Remember I have told you about this before, John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit”. Later on in verses 6-7 the apostles asked Jesus are you going to free Israel now and restore our kingdom? Jesus said to them that “The father sets those dates and they are not for you to know”. But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and will tell people about me everywhere, in Jerusalem throughout Judea, in Samaria and to the ends of the earth”.
In Acts 2:1-21 on the “Day of Pentecost” the Holy Spirit fell on Jesus’s Disciples as He had promised, and God’s Church began here on earth.
We believe that the “Old Landmark Pentecostal Holiness Church is God’s way of saying that we must go back to the Day of Pentecost, Holiness is for the Holy Ghost, which fell on everyone that day and the Church is the Body of Christ as this day is the day the Church began here on earth. This tells us that this prophecy came directly from Jesus through His Prophet, Prophetess Pauline Jackson Gore. “Old Landmark Pentecostal Holiness Church”.
On January 13, 2008, Old Landmark Pentecostal Holiness Church was officially chartered in the city of McDonough, Georgia. The church sees its primary mission as commanded by the word of God to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. Through Prophecy, discipleship, evangelism, missions and stewardship we will work to do God’s will. This church will work hard to move God’s Church back away from materialism and worldly prosperity, and back to saving souls, helping the needy, and simply doing God’s will. Old Landmark is committed to reminding God’s people that we are here to serve Him and not for Him to serve us. We invite you to join us wherever you are in Christian service to the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit God bless you all.
